Current Opportunities:
The following positions are available for Fall/Winter 2009/2010:
Office Volunteers (40 positions) – 1 hour/week
- Issue food out to client and keep the office neat and clean
Inventory Team leaders (2 positions) – 2 - 3 hours/week
- The Inventory Managers work together in a fair and respectable manner to monitor inventory, manage grocery budget, and maintain adequate inventory for operations and special projects through food donations and biweekly shopping trips.
Promotions Team Leader (1 position) – 2 - 3 hours/week
- Responsible for raising awareness on campus about the food bank, the service it provides, volunteer opportunities, and issues surrounding hunger. Responsibilities also include recruiting volunteers for any events / projects as needed, reporting progress and any concerns to the Food Bank coordinator, attending meetings, and assisting others when needed
Office Manager (1 position) – 2 - 3 hours/week
- Responsible for overseeing basic office operations, collecting statistical data on students using the services provided, communicating this data monthly to the Coordinator, as well as assisting other leaders when needed.
Resume and a brief interview are needed for the Inventory Team leaders, Promotions Team Leader and Office Manager positions.
